David E. White, CPA

David was born in Dallas, Texas, and grew up in
Jasper, Texas. He graduated from Lamar University (BBA, with highest
honors, 1974). He began his career with Maschek, Hamby, Miller, Miller
& Funchess in Beaumont. His primary areas of responsibility include
tax and financial planning for individuals, professionals and executives,
estate and trust taxation, business growth and development, and consulting
to companies involved in sale and acquisition negotiations. David
is a member and past President of the Southeast Texas Chapter of the
Texas Society of CPAs for which he was named outstanding President
in the State of Texas. He is also a member of the American Institute
of CPAs, Texas Society of CPAs, Southeast Texas Estate Planning Council,
Lamar Cardinal Club, Beta Alpha Psi, Lawyer Client Conciliation Committee
of the Jefferson County Bar Association, Beaumont Rotary Club, Beaumont
Chamber of Commerce, and the Salvation Army of Beaumont for which
he served as Chairman of the Advisory Board. He has previously served
as a member of the Board of Directors of the Lamar University Alumni
Association and the Dispute Resolution Center of Jefferson County.
In addition, David is a licensed NASD Series 7 General Securities
Representative and holds a Texas Department of Insurance Group I Life,
Accident, Health and HMO license. David is a registered representative
